Welcome to HappyTeeth.org

The Whatcom County Oral Health Coalition is a broad-based coalition working to improve oral health among community members of all ages through prevention, education, and increased access to dental care.

Healthy Teeth ~ Healthy Bodies ~ Healthy Community
It's all connected. New evidence is showing how tooth and gum diseases are linked with diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and low birth weight babies. Also, visible and painful dental problems limit the ability of residents to actively participate in work and school; and dental treatment costs can be a financial burden for communities.

Oral health is an important public health issue. Find out what a local group of concerned community members, including dental, medical, and social services professionals, is doing to improve oral and dental health in Whatcom County.
